LAFAYETTE COUNTY, WI — Two children and two adults were were hurt Sunday afternoon due to a crash involving a buggy at a Darlington intersection, according to WBAY.
The accident happened at the corner of Main Street and Ann Street. First responders were dispatched to the scene at around 2:15 p.m.
Authorities said a truck was traveling westbound on Ann Street when its driver failed to yield the right of way to the buggy, which was heading southbound on Main Street. Moments later, the truck collided with the buggy, causing the second vehicle to overturn.
The driver of the buggy, a 41-year-old man, and his wife were transported to an area hospital with unspecified injuries. Two children received treatment on the scene. A third child in the buggy and the driver of the truck were both uninjured.
At this time, no information regarding potential citations or charges has been released.
