KENOSHA COUNTY, WI — A 54-year-old Illinois man died Saturday, April 15, after a motorcycle crash in the town of Burlington that left another person hospitalized, reports TMJ4.
The fatal accident occurred in the 700 block of 312th Avenue at about 3:30 p.m.
According to the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, the man was operating the motorcycle that was also carrying a female passenger. While the man attempted to make a turn, the bike veered off the roadway and collided with the ditch line. Authorities noted it had just stopped raining at the time of the wreck, creating wet road conditions.
The male operator was pronounced deceased, confirmed the sheriff’s department.
His passenger was taken to a local hospital with injuries considered non-life-threatening.
