COLUMBIA COUNTY, WI — A 73-year-old man died Wednesday afternoon after a crash that left multiple others injured in Arlington, according to We Are Green Bay.
The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office said it was alerted of the accident on U.S. Highway 51 at about 2:15 p.m.
An early investigation shows the man was driving a vehicle southbound when it veered past the center line. Moments later, it was struck by a northbound car.
Officials said the 73-year-old male driver, a resident of Poynette, died from his injuries despite life-saving measures at the scene.
Multiple occupants in the northbound vehicle were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. No updates on their conditions have been shared.
