WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — Two people were seriously hurt Tuesday after a collision on U.S. Highway 18 in southeast Waukesha, according to FOX 6 Milwaukee.
The wreck occurred on the southbound highway (Les Paul Parkway/WIS-59/WIS-164)) at East Racine Avenue, at around 2:00 p.m.
An investigation remains underway, but authorities said one vehicle was heading south on the highway when it collided with a vehicle traveling westbound on Racine Avenue.
Two people who suffered serious injuries were transported to a local hospital. A third victim received treatment at the scene and was released.
The area around the intersection was blocked off for an extended time as crews worked the scene.
As of this writing, no charges have been reported.
