MILWAUKEE, WI — One person was arrested for OWI early Tuesday after their SUV crashed into another vehicle and then a structure in Milwaukee’s north side, reports FOX 6 Milwaukee.
The collision took place near North Holton Street and East Center Street, in the city’s Riverwest neighborhood, just before 1:00 a.m.
Investigators say the suspect, who admitted to consuming alcohol prior to driving, was behind the wheel of a silver Chevrolet Tahoe that hit another vehicle and then slammed into a nearby business.
The causing driver was placed under custody for Operating While Intoxicated as they were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
No other injuries were reported, and no other information regarding the extent of property damage has been released.
