RACINE COUNTY, WI — A 25-year-old Kenosha woman was arrested Tuesday for intoxicated driving after a single-car wreck on Interstate 94 near Caledonia, reports FOX 6 Milwaukee.
The collision took place on the northbound interstate between 7 Mile Road and Elm Road, at about 11:00 a.m.
Officials with the Racine County Sheriff’s Office said the woman was driving north when her vehicle struck the concrete median multiple times before traveling across all traffic lanes and stopping on the shoulder.
Deputies arrived to find Good Samaritans providing medical attention to the female driver, who was unconscious. After observing signs the woman was suffering from a drug overdose, deputies revived her with two doses of NARCAN.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
The sheriff’s office said the woman was cited for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) and taken into custody for a number of drug-related charges. She also received a multiple citations for traffic violations.
