WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — Authorities are searching for a driver whose pickup truck crashed through and destroyed a construction site early Sunday in Muskego, reports FOX 6 Milwaukee.
Muskego Police said the incident occurred on North Cape Road near Loomis Drive, on March 26.
An early investigation indicates a driver in a red pickup truck veered off North Cape Road (U.S. Highway 45), causing the vehicle to run through a ditch before it entered the site being overseen by Construction Management Resources. Evidence at the scene suggests the pickup slammed through the job trailer and another building, and went airborne for nearly 120 feet.
Based on further clues left at the scene, police have determined that the suspect vehicle is a “red 2003-2005 Cummins Diesel Dodge Ram pickup truck.” It should have significant damage to its front-end and driver’s side, as well as a missing driver’s side rearview mirror and a broken brake lamp on the driver’s side. The pickup will also have an aftermarket LED light bar affixed to the top of its cab, in addition to aftermarket LED headlamps with high lumen that casts a bluish hue.
Work at the construction site is currently suspended.
