MILWAUKEE, WI — Authorities are searching for a driver who fled the scene of a rollover wreck Monday morning in Milwaukee’s Roosevelt Grove area, reports TMJ4.
The Milwaukee Police Department said the incident occurred near the corner of West Roosevelt Drive and Capitol Drive (Wisconsin 190), at about 8:30 a.m.
Investigators say one driver failed to stop at a red light, causing a crash in which the victim vehicle overturned. The driver then fled the scene in the striking vehicle, which was later found abandoned.
No one was reported injured in the event, but an investigation and search for the suspect driver remain ongoing.
