MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A 71-year-old Greenfield man died Wednesday evening after being hit by a vehicle in Milwaukee’s south side, according to TMJ4.
Milwaukee Police said the fatal incident occurred near South 27th Street and West Parnell Avenue, in the city’s Gra-Ram and Copernicus Park areas, at about 7:15 p.m.
The circumstances of the event were not immediately clear, but officials said the victim succumbed to his injuries on the scene.
No information on the driver has been released, but they stayed after the crash and cooperated with authorities.
An investigation was underway. The MPD has not reported any charges as of this writing.
