RACINE COUNTY, WI — Authorities responded to a collision Friday afternoon on Wisconsin State Highway 11 in Union Grove, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The crash happened on a span of the highway (Durand Avenue) at 67th Drive, near Piggly Wiggly and Aurora Pharmacy. It was first recorded by 511 at 1:43 p.m.
While the circumstances behind the accident was not immediately clear, all eastbound and westbound lanes of WIS-11 were closed in both directions. The closure remain in place for two hours, suggesting a serious wreck and extended emergency response.
