KENOSHA COUNTY, WI — Authorities responded to a wreck Monday evening that kept part of northbound U.S. Highway 45 closed for several hours near Union Grove, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The crash occurred on the northbound highway at the Kenosha-Racine County Line (County Highway KR, 1st Street). It was first reported by 511 at 7:09 p.m.
Details remain limited, but the closure remained in place for more than five hours, suggesting a major accident.

By 12:40 a.m. the next morning, crews had cleared the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
