OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI — Authorities responded to a collision early Thursday that blocked all northbound lanes of Interstate 41 in northeast Appleton, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The crash happened on the northbound interstate at North Meade Street and was first reported by 4:22 a.m.
Details remain limited, but only the left lane was initially reported closed. By 4:40 a.m., less than 20 minutes later, officials announced the closure of all northbound lanes.

The closure remained in place for more than two more hours, suggesting a major accident.
At 6:45 a.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and all lanes were reported open.
