MILWAUKEE, WI — Authorities were called to a collision late Thursday afternoon on Interstate 43/94 in Milwaukee’s south side, according to TTWN Milwaukee.
The crash happened on the northbound lanes at West Oklahoma Avenue, just north of the Saveland Park neighborhood. It was first reported by TTWN at 4:45 p.m.

While the cause of the wreck remains unclear, traffic was backed up to Holt Avenue at the time of the initial report. By 4:55 p.m., only the left lane remained blocked, but the backup had extended to Howard Avenue.
At 5:20 p.m., the scene was announced cleared with stop-and-go traffic down to the Mitchell Interchange.
