MILWAUKEE, WI — Three teenagers were taken into custody Monday afternoon after crashing their vehicle in northwest Milwaukee during a police pursuit, according to WISN.
Milwaukee Police said officers attempted to pull over a reckless vehicle in the area of 64th Street and West Thurston Avenue at about 1:25 p.m., but the driver failed to stop, prompting a chase.
The pursuit terminated with the suspect vehicle crashing at the intersection of North 51st Boulevard and West Silver Spring Drive, at the northwest corner of McGovern Park.
Authorities then arrested the fleeing occupants, two 17-year-old boys and a 16-year-old girl. All three were also taken to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries.
No other vehicles appear to have been involved, and no other injuries were reported.
