MILWAUKEE, WI — One person was left seriously injured Thursday afternoon after being struck by a car during a two-vehicle crash in northwest Milwaukee, reports TMJ4.
The incident occurred at the intersection of North 35th Street and West Townsend Street, in the Roosevelt Grove neighborhood. Milwaukee police and firefighters were called to the scene at about 2:30 p.m.
It was unclear what caused the crash, but nearby doorbell camera footage indicates that two cars collided. One of them then veered into a pedestrian who was standing in the median, which threw the victim against a light pole.
The pedestrian, a man in his 60s, was rushed to a local hospital with serious injuries, according to the Milwaukee Fire Department.
At this time, authorities have not released any information regarding pending charges.
