OCONTO COUNTY, WI — A 57-year-old man was taken into custody Saturday night after a rollover wreck on Geano Beach Road in Little Suamico, reports NBC26.
A Wisconsin State Patrol trooper responded to the scene at the intersection with County Road S, at about 9:21 p.m.
According to officials, the man’s vehicle collided with a street sign and became disabled off of the roadway. After observing signs of impairment, the trooper administered a standardized field sobriety test. The male driver was later arrested for his sixth offense of operating while under the influence (OWI).
Authorities said the suspect suffered minor injuries in the wreck, but it was unclear whether he had to be taken to a hospital. He was later transported and released to the custody of the Brown County Sheriff’s Office Jail Division.
