WASHINGTON COUNTY, WI — A vehicle accident early Friday closed a left lane on Interstate 41 near southeast Slinger, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The crash happened on the northbound interstate at Sherman Road and was first recorded by 511 at 1:36 a.m.
Officials have not released the cause of the wreck or details on the involved vehicles, but the left lane remained blocked for about 45 minutes.

By 2:16 a.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and all lanes were reported cleared.
