FOND DU LAC COUNTY, WI — A car carrier was involved in a crash Thursday afternoon, forcing part of southbound Interstate 41 to close in Fond du Lac, according to We Are Green Bay.
The accident occurred on the southbound lanes at County Highway F and was first reported by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation at 3:04 p.m.
Details remain limited, but the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office responded and were working to clear the scene, which was expected to take over two hours.
All southbound lanes from County B and County F remained blocked until about 5:42 p.m., more than two and a half hours later.
No injuries have been confirmed at this time.
