MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A vehicle accident Tuesday morning closed a section of northbound Interstate 43 near Fox Point, according to TTWN Milwaukee.
Emergency responders had the northbound lanes from Good Hope Road and before Brown Deer Road in the immediate aftermath. The incident was first reported by TTWN at 7:10 a.m.

The circumstances behind the event remains unclear, but all northbound traffic was stopped until about 7:15 a.m. By then, only two northbound lanes were reported blocked, but traffic had backed up to Green Tree Road.

Authorities did not announce a projected clearance time, but the closure remained in place until at least 7:50 a.m., 35 minutes later.
