SHAWANO COUNTY, WI — A vehicle wreck late Monday afternoon blocked all southbound lanes of Wisconsin Highway 22 near northeast Cecil, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The collision took place on the southbound highway at Freeborn Road, northwest of the Pensaukee Lake Boat Launch. It was first reported by 511 shortly after 4:00 p.m.
Little information has been released, but the closure stayed in place for over 90 minutes, suggesting a major accident.

At 5:36 p.m., officials announced the scene had cleared with all lanes restored to traffic.
