MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — One person was arrested early Wednesday after a police chase ended in a two-vehicle wreck near Milwaukee’s Polonia area, reports FOX6 Milwaukee.
The collision took place at West Oklahoma Avenue and South 13th Street, shortly before 2:00 a.m.
According to authorities, an officer had attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle but its driver fled, prompting a pursuit. Shortly later, the fleeing vehicle collided with another vehicle at the intersection.
The suspect then tried to flee the scene of the wreck, but the vehicle was left stuck on the center median.
No injuries to either involved driver were reported,
Officials have not released details regarding potential charges, but the fleeing driver was taken into custody following the incident.
