MILWAUKEE, WI — A 41-year-old man died late Friday morning after being struck by a vehicle while riding a bike in the Forest Home Hills area of southwest Milwaukee, according to TMJ4.
The fatal incident occurred at the intersection of South 20th Street and West Grant Street at about 11:30 a.m.
Milwaukee police said a blue 2002-2007 four-door Jeep Liberty was northbound on 20th when it hit the cyclist and continued northbound. The vehicle was last seen turning east onto West Becher Street.
Medics applied life-saving measures to the victim, but he was later pronounced deceased at the scene.
As of this writing, the suspect driver and vehicle have not been located, but an investigation remains ongoing.
