RACINE, WI – One person was injured in a collision on I-94 South that also resulted in diesel fuel spilling onto the road, also leading to heavy traffic congestion Wednesday.
Racine County News/ Scanner reported this crash after 3:30 p.m., saying it happened south of Highway 20. To accommodate the spillage clean-up, scene clearance, and investigation, local police shut down two lanes.
The South Shore Fire Department and Union Grove Yorkville Fire Department were also called to the scene.
Authorities have not specified the exact cause of Wednesday’s wreck, listed the number of people and vehicles involved, or said if the injured person was hospitalized.
