MILWAUKEE, WI – A 28-year-old woman is in critical condition and is recovering at Froedtert Hospital after she was hit by a driver who fled the scene Sunday.
This collision took place before 11 a.m. at the North Water Street and East Highland Avenue junction, according to WISN.
The woman, Sierra Pecor, sustained many broken ribs, internal bleeding, and a lacerated liver.
Police have not yet provided a description of the suspect or their vehicle.
