WEST ALLIS, WI – Milwaukee County officials have released the name of the 63-year-old woman who lost her life in a hit-and-run collision Thursday.

An eye witness named Seth Lapalm told CBS 58 the events unfolded when the driver, an unidentified 91-year-old man, turned right from West Greenfield Avenue onto West National Avenue, when he struck the victim, later identified as Jennifer Milliman. The suspect continued driving and declined to render aid and call 911.

Lapalm added that the interchange — three streets intertwining — can be confusing for most travelers, leading to a risk of greater accidents. Police, however, did not confirm if the suspect was confused about where to turn at the time of the collision. Nonetheless, they certified that the suspect was found but is not currently in custody.
