NEAR SALEM, WI – A man in his mid-20s and a cow both died when the man crashed his car into a farm’s fence, hitting several cows Thursday.
This crash took place around 5 a.m. at 31st Street and County Highway B. FOX 6 Now said the impact completely totaled the car’s roof and caused many of the cows to then scatter onto the road.
Authorities were later able to take the cows back to the farm.
Initially, a person in the area called the police, claiming that they saw a cow in the middle of the road. Officials did not say if this was the cow that was fatally struck or if they were among the other cows who were hit and attempted to escape the farm. In addition, police did not release the name of the deceased man.
