MILWAUKEE, WI — A 33-year-old driver lost their life Wednesday morning after a collision on Sherman Boulevard in northwest Milwaukee, according to CBS58.
The accident happened at the corner with Custer Avenue, near McGovern Park. Milwaukee Police responded to the scene at around 7:10 a.m.
Although the cause of the crash remains unclear, officers arrived to find a vehicle at rest in the trees to the north and west of the intersection.
First responders pronounced the driver deceased at the scene.
No other major injuries were reported, and no other vehicles appear to have been involved.
An investigation remains in progress.
