WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — A vehicle fire was reported last Friday morning, December 1, near downtown Waukesha, according to Waukesha Alerts.
The accident happened in the 1000 block of White Rock Avenue, off East Main Street. Three City of Waukesha Fire Department units responded to the scene at around 10:15 a.m.
Little information has been released, dispatchers said firefighters arrived to find flames and smoke emitting from the vehicle. The emergency response was significantly delayed because of an inoperable fire hydrant across the road from the residence where it was reported.

Caller reported his vehicle was on fire but disconnected before further information could be gathered.

At this time, officials have not said whether a collision or mechanical issues caused the blaze. No injuries have been confirmed in connection to the incident.
