MILWAUKEE, WI — A vehicle crash Saturday evening closed two left lanes on Interstate 43 in Milwaukee’s south side, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The accident happened on the southbound lanes at Oklahoma Avenue, north of the city’s Saveland Park area. It was first recorded by 511 at 5:55 p.m.
Little information about the incident has been shared, but the two left southbound lanes remained blocked for nearly 50 minutes, suggesting a more involved emergency response.

By 6:42 p.m., crews had cleared the wreck from the roadway, leaving all lanes open to traffic.
