WINNEBAGO COUNTY, WI — Authorities were called to a collision Wednesday evening that blocked part of northbound Interstate 41 in northwest Oshkosh, according to We Are Green Bay.
The accident impacted the northbound lanes of I-41 at U.S. Highway 45 (Exit 120), just before 6:30 p.m.
No information regarding the cause of the crash has been provided, but a section of northbound I-41 was shut down for over two hours.
The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and are handling an investigation.
It remains unclear how many vehicles were involved or whether anyone was seriously injured.
By 8:45 p.m., the Wisconsin Department of Transportation had announced that the scene had been cleared, with all lanes restored to traffic.
