MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A semi-truck fire late Friday afternoon caused delays on Interstate 94 in northwest Oak Creek, according to TMJ4.
The incident was reported on the southbound lanes near West Rawson Avenue (Exit 320), just northeast of Falk Park. By 5:00 p.m., thick plumes of smoke could be seen emitting from the impacted semi.
As of this writing, authorities have not indicated whether a crash caused the blaze, but the emergency response created a significant traffic backup.
It remains unclear whether another vehicle was involved, and no information on the driver’s condition has been disclosed.
