WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — One person was hospitalized early Tuesday evening after a multi-vehicle crash on Wisconsin State Highway 59 in Waukesha, according to Waukesha Alerts.
The wreck occurred on a span of WIS-59 (U.S. Highway 18/Les Paul Parkway/Waukesha Bypass) near South West Avenue. At least three police department units and at least three fire department units responded to the scene at about 5:12 p.m.
Officials have not said what caused the accident, but as many as six vehicles were involved.

While multiple victims were involved, only one patient was ultimately transported to a hospital from the scene. All others received treatment from EMS personnel for more minor injuries and were released.
