WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — Authorities were called to a wreck Friday morning that closed all of westbound Interstate 94 near southwest Brookfield, reports TMJ4.
The accident happened on the westbound lanes at West Bluemound Road, near mile marker 298. It was first reported by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation just before 6:00 a.m.
Few details have been released at this time, but the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department had a section of I-94 blocked during an initial investigation.
At 7:13 a.m., more than an hour later, TMJ4 reported that all lanes had been reopened.
It remains unclear whether anyone was seriously injured.
