MILWAUKEE, WI — Two women were hospitalized last Friday, May 26, after a single-vehicle accident in southwest Milwaukee’s Layton Park area, reports TMJ4.
Milwaukee Police said the collision occurred near the intersection of South 27th Street and West Harrison Avenue, at around 10:24 a.m.
A preliminary investigation found that a 32-year-old St. Francis woman was behind the wheel of a vehicle traveling at a “high rate of speed.” At one point, she lost control, causing the vehicle to collide with a tree.
Both the female driver and her passenger, a 33-year-old Cudahy woman, were transported to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.
No further information has been provided at this time, and no charges have been reported.
