SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, WI — One person died Saturday night after a wrong-way crash on Wisconsin State Highway 57 near the Town of Lyndon, according to TMJ4.
The accident occurred on the southbound lanes of WIS-57 near County Road N. Officials with the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office and multiple other area agencies were dispatched to the scene at around 10:52 p.m.
Preliminary details indicate one person was driving northbound on the southbound side of the highway when their vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle.
The wrong-way driver succumbed to their injuries at the scene, confirmed the SCSO.
First responders rushed the other driver by ambulance to Aurora Medical Center Grafton with serious injuries.
