MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — One person was hospitalized Monday night after being struck by a car near northwest Wauwatosa, according to TMJ4.
The incident took place in the area of North 124th Street and West Capitol Drive, near the Target store. Officers with the Wauwatosa Police Department responded to the scene at around 9:33 p.m.
While details remain limited, authorities said a pedestrian was attempting to cross 124th Street when they were hit by a vehicle.
First responders rushed the victim to a local hospital for treatment of “serious but non-life-threatening” injuries.
The driver, who stayed at the scene after the event and cooperated with officers, has not been cited as of this writing.
