MILWAUKEE, WI — A 41-year-old man was critically injured early Monday when he was hit by a vehicle in downtown Milwaukee’s Lower East Side, reports TMJ4.
The incident occurred near East Brady Street and North Arlington Place at around 2:00 a.m.
According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the male pedestrian was crossing the street when he was struck by a driver in a silver SUV that continued without stopping.
The victim, who suffered life-threatening injuries, was rushed to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition. A GoFundMe linked in the TMJ4 article indicates his injuries include two broken legs and internal bleeding near his liver.
At this time. authorities have not released further information on the suspect of fleeing vehicle.
