MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — An 18-year-old passenger died Sunday morning after a crash in West Allis that left at least three others hospitalized, according to TMJ4.

The fatal wreck occurred at the intersection of South 60th Street and West Burnham Street.

West Allis Police said the victim appeared to have been a passenger in a Pontiac driven by a 20-year-old male driver, who is believed to have been impaired. At one point, the Pontiac failed to stop at a red light and collided with a Jeep and two pedestrians.

Preliminary details indicate the female passenger in the Pontiac was pronounced deceased on the scene.

The driver of the Jeep, an 18-year-old woman, and two male pedestrians, ages 53 and 50, were all transported to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries. No updates on their conditions have been released.

West Allis Police arrested the driver of the Pontiac for “suspicion of homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle.”

An investigation remains underway.
