MILWAUKEE, WI — Two people were hospitalized Thursday morning after a two-vehicle wreck in northwest Milwaukee’s Grasslyn Manor area, reports TMJ4.
Milwaukee Police said the crash took place at West Fond du Lac Avenue (WIS-145) and Capitol Drive (WIS-190), at around 5:51 a.m.
Preliminary details indicate a 20-year-old male driver failed to stop at a red light, causing his vehicle to collide with a second vehicle.
The causing driver, who suffered life-threatening injuries, had to be extricated from his vehicle before being transported to an area hospital. At the time of TMJ4’s article, he was listed in critical condition.
First responders also transported the second driver, a 36-year-old Menomonee Falls woman, to a local hospital with serious injuries. She was last listed in stable condition.
At this time, no further details have been released.
