MILWAUKEE, WI — Authorities responded to a crash Saturday morning that blocked all of southbound Interstate 43 near north Milwaukee, according to TMJ4.
The collision occurred on the southbound lanes West Silver Spring Drive (Exit 78), in Glendale, just north of the Milwaukee River Parkway area. It was first reported by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation at 6:30 a.m.
Little information has been released, but the Milwaukee County Sherif’s Office were at the scene conducting an investigation.
The closure remained in place for over an hour. By 8:21 a.m., TMJ4 crews reported all lanes had been reopened to traffic.
At this time, it remains unclear what caused the wreck and whether anyone was seriously hurt.
