MILWAUKEE, WI — Authorities responded to a collision Wednesday afternoon that blocked a left lane on Interstate 43/94 in Milwaukee’s south side, according to TTWN Milwaukee.
The crash happened on the northbound lanes approaching West Oklahoma Avenue, just north of the Saveland Park neighborhood. It was first reported by TTTWN at 2:55 p.m.
Few details have been provided at this time, but the accident was initially only impacting the left shoulder. By 3:20 p.m., 25 minutes later, a traffic backup had extended down to Holt Avenue.

At 3:40 p.m., the closure was upgraded to the left lane, and stop-and-go traffic was reported down to Howard Avenue.
