BROWN COUNTY, WI — A crash involving a jackknifed semi-truck late Thursday morning blocked a section of southbound Interstate 43 near Green Bay’s west side, reports NBC26.
The accident occurred on the Leo Frigo Bridge, past Exit 189 to Atkinson Drive.
It was unclear what caused the wreck or whether any other vehicles were involved, but Green Bay Police asked motorists to find alternate routes.
A recommended route for southbound traffic heading eastbound included taking Atkinson Drive to Velp Avenue, which transitions into U.S. 141; from U.S. 141, motorists could take Webster Avenue to return to I-43.
As of this writing, no injuries have been reported in the event.
