MILWAUKEE, WI — Authorities were called to a crash early Tuesday evening on Interstate 43 near downtown Milwaukee’s Westown neighborhood, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The collision took place on the southbound lanes at West Highland Avenue, just northeast of Aurora Sinai Medical Center. It was first recorded by 511 at 5:42 p.m.
Little information has been shared at this time, but three left lanes were blocked in the immediate aftermath.

By 6:58 p.m., over an hour after the initial report, crews had cleared the scene and all lanes were announced reopened.
