MILWAUKEE, WI — A 50-year-old woman was critically injured Thursday morning in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash in Milwaukee’s Roosevelt Grove area, reports TMJ4.
Milwaukee Police said the incident occurred near West Fond du Lac Avenue and North Sherman Boulevard at around 5:14 a.m.
The circumstances behind the crash remain unclear at this time. but the woman was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene. First responders arrived to find the victim suffering from serious injuries. She was rushed to an area hospital where she was listed in critical condition.
At this time, an investigation and a search for unknown suspects remain underway.
