WAUPACA COUNTY, WI — One person was hospitalized Friday night after being ejected in a rollover crash on U.S. Highway 45 near east Fremont, reports We Are Green Bay.
The collision occurred on the southbound lanes of US-45 north of County Road W, at around 9:30 p.m.
Deputies with the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office said a vehicle was heading southbound, when, for reasons being investigated, it lost control. Moments later, it traveled into a ditch and overturned.
The driver, who was ejected during the rollover, suffered life-threatening injuries. They were rushed to an area hospital by ThedaStar personnel.
No other details have been released, but an investigation was underway.
