MILWAUKEE, WI — A vehicle wreck Thursday afternoon blocked two left lanes on Interstate 43 near Milwaukee’s Halyard Park neighborhood, according to 511 Wisconsin.
The collision took place on the northbound lanes at the West North Avenue overpass, just past James W. Beckum Park. It was first reported by 511 at 2:08 p.m.

Authorities have not said what led up to the crash, but by 2:23 p.m., only one left lane remained closed. Less than ten minutes later, the scene had been cleared from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
