MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — Two people were hurt, one seriously, Wednesday morning due to a crash involving a semi-truck on Interstate 41 near Wauwatosa, reports TMJ4.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office said the accident occurred on the Exit 44 exit ramp from I-41 northbound to West Capitol Avenue. It was first reported by TMJ4 at 5:52 a.m.
According to authorities, an SUV was traveling in the wrong direction when it collided head-on with a semi-truck.
Few details have been shared, but the SUV passenger was found “conscious and breathing” while the driver of the SUV appeared to suffer major injuries. The driver of the semi was said to be in “OK” condition.
An investigation remains ongoing.
