DODGE COUNTY, WI — A 58-year-old man has died after suffering major injuries Sunday in a single-vehicle crash off County Highway J in Lowell, reports TMJ4.
The fatal crash happened on a span of the highway (Beaver Dam Road) near County Highway KW (South Street) on November 6.
According to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, the man was driving a 2007 Ford passenger car when he veered off the roadway at a curve. The Ford spun counter-clockwise before hitting an embankment, which pushed the vehicle into the air.
First responders rushed the victim by airlift to UW Hospital, where he died from his injuries on Monday, November 7.
Multiple other agencies, including fire crews from Clyman, Lowell, and Reeseville Fire Departments, as well as Beaver Dam EMS, worked at the scene.
Officials with the DCSO continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
