MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A vehicle wreck late Saturday morning closed a right lane on Interstate 43 in Milwaukee’s north side, according to TTWN Milwaukee.
The collision occurred on the northbound lanes at West Hampton Avenue, near Glendale’s Lincoln Park. It was first reported by TTWN at 12:00 p.m.
Authorities have not disclosed the cause of the crash, but at the time of the report, traffic was backed up to West Locust Street.

By 12:25 p.m., the closure remained in place, and the backup had extended to Atkinson Avenue.
