MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — A 55-year-old man died early Friday after a single-vehicle wreck near West Milwaukee Middle School, according to TMJ4.
The West Milwaukee Police Department said the accident happened in the area of South 50th Street and West Greenfield Avenue shortly after midnight.
It was unclear what caused the crash, but officers and fire crews arrived on the scene to the man suffering from serious injuries. Despite life-saving measures, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
Officials have not disclosed further details, but an investigation was underway.
